We embarked on a new adventure by purchasing a lake house in Tennessee, funded by the sale of our residential home and a family investment. Unlike our first property, this home wasn’t a fixer-upper, but it came with unwanted furnishings and significant water issues that needed resolution. Despite these challenges, we navigated the complexities of managing an STR with family, transforming the property into a cherished destination for our annual summer gatherings filled with boating, swimming, and BBQs.
